Sound Of The Whistle

The trains are rumbling by

Many of them nearly fly

Plenty of bumps and holes

Hundreds of cars of coal.

Rocks and sulfur rolling along

Then hear their noisy bong

Some are screeching like a song

Those wheels need to be made strong.

Did you hear the whistle blow?

The sound of the bell is low

But it will let you know

That he is coming down the row.

The engine is still a chugging

The smoke is over clouding

The wheels are loudly clattering

Filling the air with their routing.
