Ferns
Tender delicate touch of God’s finger
When he brought to us the soft fern
Many shapes and sizes where you turn
To meditate and ponder as you linger.
The splendor of the tiny black stem
And the dainty swirl at the end of them
Tiny ruffled leaves in its little circle
Several close together shows God’s miracle.
